Alexander Anthony Kaminski was raised in a Brooklyn orphanage. He was an alter boy in the local catholic church. When he was old enough he joined "The Army-Air Corps" and worked his way up the ranks to Staff Sgt. He was stationed in Pearl Harbor when the Japanese attacked in WWII. After the war was over and he received his honorable discharge he left his family and friends to find a new life in Los Angeles where he met my grandmother Helen Guignard the daughter of a French woman. They fell in love and were soon married. He joined the California Conservation Corps while going to school. After graduating college he began work in communications on the top of Mount Wilson. My grandfather Alex began to work with companies like McDonnel Douglas and N.A.S.A. He had a hand in the U.S.A.'s "Star Wars" program, a defensive system to shoot down enemy nuclear missiles. He also worked for the county of Los Angeles and the city. When he finally retired he had 2 beautiful daughters my Aunt Linda and my mother Sandra and his one and only grandson me. He was a Ham radio operator with the call sign K6SD and built a massive radio tower that was 70 feet tall to communicate across the world. We would use it together and talk to many different countries except for Russia because they used interference he would refer to as the "Russian Woodpecker" they installed for national security reasons. He was a fan of Star Trek and believed in extra terrestrial life. He and my grandmother would tell me tales of being eye witnesses to alien space craft and ghosts! He tried to get a book published on his experiences in Pearl Harbor but it was never approved. He was thinking of writing a book on his paranormal experiences in NY chasing ghosts around Brooklyn with his friends but with old age creeping up he slowly gave up on his hobbies. At the age of 93 he gave up his ghost after having a funny conversation with my mom Sandra. I was the "Head of Security" of a high rise building in Downtown L.A. "The California Jewelry Mart" at the time and had no clue of his passing until I got home that day. My mother Sandra was deeply hurt. She was also at my grandmother Helen's side when she passed. My mother Sandra told me once she also seen a vaporous apparition near an old church that was in the neighborhood when she was a teen with her cousins Sherry & Ricky. I believe the tales that my family told me are true to this day because I have also encountered the supernatural. My grandfather educated me in science, reading, writing, arithmetic, and a great many other things to strengthen my mind. Learning from him was like learning from the best professors in the world. I wanted to take over the search for what he believed in his stead using all he taught me, my common sense, and utilizing modern day science and try to find and document proof so that the world will finally see the truth. This research development center is dedicated to my grandfather, one of the great minds of our time Alexander for his pleasure on the other side.
